Senior Software Engineer (.NET / C# / React)

Location: Cork (Hybrid)
Salary: €70,000 – €85,000+ DOE
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Role

An established technology company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a highly skilled engineering team based in Cork.

You’ll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining modern web applications, working across the full stack with a strong focus on .NET, C#, and React.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance web applications

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using .NET / C#

• Develop modern, responsive UIs using React

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps

• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction

• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code

• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers

Tech Stack

• Backend: .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core

• Frontend: React, JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML, CSS

• APIs: REST

• Databases: SQL-based systems

• Tools & Practices: Git, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum

What We’re Looking For

• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET

• Solid experience building front-end applications with React

• Experience working in a full stack capacity

• Understanding of software design principles and best practices

• Comfortable working in an Agile environment

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
